hematite gifts
Hematite (also spelled hematite) in polished form is a rich black stone which often has a metallic appearance like a mirror. Formed from iron oxides hematite is a heavy stone that is often magnetised (either naturally or by placing in magnetic fields). It is often worn by people with arthritis and rheumatism. Due to its magnetic properties it should not be used or worn by individuals fitted with pacemakers. In healing hematite is considered to be one of the best grounding stones and is associated with the base chakra.
