These bookends are striking, the contrast between the rough external surface and the smooth highly polished agate is wonderful. The dark grays on the outer edge are gently turning paler, you then have the stunning milky quartz crystal, finishing with a crystal packed geode center, a great specimen on any shelf.
Agate is said to be a strong protective gem stone, spiritually agate is said to assist relaxation and meditation. Connected to the base chakra this stone is said to have strong grounding powers.
