Tourmalinated quartz is natural clear quartz with inclusions of tourmaline which take the form of black strands. It almost looks like threads of black cotton encased in quartz.
Tourmalinated quartz shares many of the attributes and properties of clear quartz with the added benefits of tourmaline. In healing like quartz it is a useful grounding stone and is associated with the crown chakra.
